Objective

The objective of Offshore Center Danmark is the place, where Danish companies in cooperation find and develop the latest knowledge and competences within the offshore industry for the sole purpose of securing the earnings of the companies as well as the employment.

Offshore Center Danmark is an independent organisation with financial support from the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation, by the Region of Southern Denmark and by a number of municipalities in Denmark and Greenland, and by member companies and institutions.

Offshore Center Danmark has documentable support from a number of Danish companies through more than +210 members.

Offshore Center Danmark is housed in Esbjerg. The staffing includes a director, 3 technical employees, a funding coordinator, a project assistant/webmaster and a communication coordinator. In addition to this several external consultants and an accountant are associated the centre.

Since initiation in 2003, more than +210 companies and knowledge institutions have joined the centre, more than 50 conferences and workshops within offshore related subjects have been hosted and more than 40 industry development projects have been coordinated.
