Goal

Network for improving Danish participation and access to EU-funding within the sphere of Renewable Offshore Energy
(Project name acronym: DSF Network)
Through active networking, the goal is to define Danish offshore Windpower development- and research projects with related engaged partners. The project work is solely the preliminary project- and partner definitions and is not including writing of applications. Application focus are EU 7th Frame Work Program.

Description
Danish offshore windpower technology are worldwide in front as a result of having established a number of the world’s largest offshore Windpower plants in the North Sea. This technical leadership has been underlined by many years advanced development and research at the area. The ongoing globalization gives new challenges to the Danish offshore Windpower industry, where new strong worldwide companies are seeking the growing marked.
To maintain the European technical leadership on the offshore Windpower industry, intense development and research at the area are crucial and necessary. This is recognized by the EU Commission, who has marked considerable economical resources for research and development through the EU 7th Frame Work Program. Danish companies and universities are seeking this funds.
Defining research- and development project and finding engaged partners on the offshore Windpower marked are an expensive specialty. To support this efforts for the Danish offshore Windpower industry, the DSF Network development project has been established.
Mile Stones
Project starts autumn 2010 and ends late 2012.
