Competences & Resources for the Oil & Gas Sector - CROSS - Completed
Goal
A lack of qualified human resources is at present conceived by the offshore industry to be one of the main obstacles for internationalization of the Danish offshore industry. With this currently being one of the the major concerns, the long-term strategic need for internationalization, can hence not be fully prioritized by many companies.
The Danish offshore industry is experiencing a declining interest among local job seekers. The OCD member companies therefore decided to initiate untraditional ways in order to attract human resources, looking at Denmark, but also at countries with less oil & gas related activities and attract people also from there.

The project has partners from Valtor, Confederation of Danish Industries, Business Development Center West, Business Academy West, the University of Southern Denmark, Aalborg University Esbjerg, Deloitte, Job Center Esbjerg as well as a selection of succesfull Danish exporting companies as a reference to pave the way, including Valtor and Ramboll. The project is coordinated by Offshore Center Danmark.
